Animals of the Camp

The flora and fauna of the camp is a special experience itself. Baboons are daily visitors in the courtyard where they enjoy walking around undisturbed. The play of the little monkeys is quite entertaining. Sometimes they can be approached as close as 2 metres. In addition, over 100 species of birds can be seen in an average day inside the camp and it’s surrounding area. You can spot hunting eagles from our viewpoint. Huge butterflies, rare beetles, chameleons are commonly live with us here.
With good telescope you are able to see the whole wildlife of Manyara: lions, elephants, giraffes and flamingos – naturally.
